THE EXPERTISE
Little Sunshine's is an in-home childcare facility conveniently located near The Grove in Los Angeles. We specialize in the care of children 0-4 years old.
At Little Sunshines children learn from their peers, through play, presentations, scheduled activities, outdoor time, and field trips to walking distance museums, parks, and outdoor areas. There is a structured yet easy-going, fun, and flexible environment where the safe prepared space allows them to explore and learn.
From the moment they come in, they learn skills like baby sign language to help them develop their communication ability.
In a culturally diverse environment, they learn the social skills that will help them grow into empathic, wholesome, independent, brilliant children.
The kids that have been at Little Sunshines since infancy have become advanced in their speech, social, and motor skills by age two. The ones that come in a little later quickly pick up and develop their milestones.

Educational Philosophy
We believe that developing a student's creativity and imagination in their early childhood years will provide them with problem-solving skills that will benefit them life-long. We believe in the limitless potential of children. The goal is to provide our students with a broader perspective on the world around them through Montessori-inspired, self-directed play and through learning how to communicate in both Spanish and English. So far, 100% of our pre-k students that have applied have been accepted into LAUSD elementary gifted programs.
Learning Through Play

We borrow from different educational modules like Montessori, Waldorf, STEAM, Reggio Emilia, and Piaget to immerse our students in a program that allows their intellectual, social, emotional, and creative development. Providing first and foremost important age-appropriate developmental activities that will lead to kindergarten readiness.
